On Wednesday night, Valley hosted Waverly and the teams participated in the Volley for Oaklynn. Oaklynn Keller lives in our community and is currently undergoing treatment for Leukemia. Gift baskets were raffled off, and fans in attendance were able to play in games to raise money. Both teams wore t-shirts that said "Together We Fight for Oaklynn". The money donated Wednesday night was $2,318 with all proceeds going to the Keller family. "It was amazing to see the support from both schools and their communities", stated Coach Kari Christman. The Volleyball Team would like to thank everyone including area businesses that donated items for the cause. They also appreciate the fans for their wonderful support that night.
